SmarterPay’s Card Payment implementation consists of a set of objects within Salesforce which represent the Card Payment process. These are usually linked to the client's Account and Contact object with a third object usually linked to a custom object of the clients choosing (Usually a payment or opportunity object).

These objects are inserted and updated by our Card Payment software which sits on our secure servers. This acts as a bridge between Salesforce and the payment gateway ensuring customer payments are managed and represented correctly in Salesforce.

SmarterPay's Card Payment object structure consist of two objects, “Card_Payment__c” and “Card_Payment_History__c”. The Card Payment object has the ability to link to the standard Contact and Account object as well as any other object the client wishes (Usually a Payment or Opportunity object).
