Repeat Payments

Repeat payments are offered as part of the standard SmarterPay package, however the merchant bank must allow the merchant to have ‘continuous authority’ over cards.

SmarterPay provide a series of choices for recurring payments depending on the scenario:

Repeat Payment API

Repeat payments can be made through a call to the SmarterPay repeat payment API. This can be manually done through a button press or automated based on an event in Salesforce.

Managed repeat payment service

Repeat payments can also be managed through a scheduling service provided by SmarterPay. SmarterPay will automatically search every day for any repeat payments that need to be taken. This schedule is defined in the ‘Repeat Payments’ section on a card record using fields such as RP Amount and RP Frequency.
