SmarterPay Secure Sign Up

SmarterPay has introduced SmarterPay Secure Sign Up, accessed through SmarterPay Cloud and SmarterPay Cloud API.

SmarterPay Secure Sign Up can help avoid payment fraud, and manage risk, by verifying bank account ownership.

Please speak to your account manager, or sales, to find out prices and to enable the service on your account.

1. An applicable record is created in SmarterPay Cloud, using either the Portal or the API, requesting validation.
2. An Account Validation record is created in SmarterPay Cloud.
3. A Link is returned, for API requests, or displayed, in the Portal, for the requesting record.
4. The Link is sent to the customer.
5. The customer uses the link to authenticate their details.
6. The authentication result is passed back to SmarterPay Cloud.
7. The affected records are updated as applicable.
